What is SUNIFUL™ Mineral SPF Scalp Protectant?

SUNIFUL™ Mineral SPF Scalp Protectant is a lightweight, oil absorbing sunscreen specifically designed to protect your scalp from harmful UV rays while absorbing access oil on the scalp. It provides broad-spectrum protection on the often neglected scalp.

How do I apply the SUNIFUL™ Scalp Protectant?

Pop off the lid, screw off the sponge & remove inner gasket, screw the sponge back on. Dab the sponge on your hair where SPF and oil absorption are needed. Use your fingertips to massage and blend the powder into your root, then brush or comb through hair to evenly distribute any excess powder. 

Can I wash the sponge?

YES! DO NOT try remove the actual sponge from the bottle, it does not come apart. Unscrew the entire top of sponge section, then the sponge can be hand-washed with gentle soap, air dry completely, then place back on bottle.  Make sure it is completely dry before applying powder. If still wet, powder may become clogged in sponge. 

Can I use this product on my face or body?

SUNIFUL™ Mineral SPF Scalp Protectant is specifically formulated for the scalp and hairline, but it can be used on any area that needs sun protection. For facial or body use, we recommend using a sunscreen formulated for those areas. 

Does SUNIFUL™ leave a white residue?

Although we created SUNIFUL™ to be as translucent as possible, if over used or not blended correctly, the product can leave a white residue. 

Is it safe for all hair types?

Yes! Whether you have thick, fine, curly, straight, or no hair, SUNIFUL™ is safe for all hair types/scalps and works effectively to protect the scalp without weighing your hair down.

How often should I reapply the product?

Reapply every 2 hours, especially after sweating or swimming, to ensure continued protection.

Is SUNIFUL™ safe for sensitive skin?

Yes, SUNIFUL™ is formulated with gentle, non-irritating ingredients, making it ideal for sensitive scalps. However, if you have any specific skin concerns, we recommend doing a patch test before full use.

Can I use SUNIFUL™ if I have colored or treated hair?

Absolutely! SUNIFUL™ is safe for color-treated and chemically treated hair, and it won’t cause fading or damage.
